Let's Learn

Preview the Queen's vocabulary:

  • disruption: something that stops or pauses another thing
  • front line: first in line of defence* (traditionally a war term)
  • vulnerable: more likely to experience harm than others 
  • spare: to save others from harm
  • tackle: to attack a problem and try to solve it
  • resolute: with great purpose
  • attribute: an important part of something
  • applaud: to clap for, congratulate
  • convert: to change into something new
  • endure: to live through something difficult

Write down any words or expressions you don't know. Look them up in a dictionary. Then watch again.

Let's Review

Answer the questions in the comments area. Can you use some of the Queen's vocabulary?
